What's New in 2010

Spring is finally here at Hidden Oak Farms!! There are Birthday Parties every weekend filling the parking lot to the max!! We would like to thank everyone who has been out supporting our zoo.

We are constantly striving to add new attractions and animals to our facility. David finished Gift Shop "All About Animas" and it is so cute. You guessed it, it's filled to the brim and ready for customers. In case you forget your birthday gift you can stop by and pick something out.

The "Cow that Started it All", Tilly, had a baby!!! His name is Willy and he is adorable. Everyone in the pasture knows not to mess with him or they have to answer to Tilly. She has turned out to be an outstanding mother.

An adoption occurred last summer a baby Raccoon and a"De-scented" Skunk were adopted from Indiana. They have been moved from inside the house to a new habitat on exhibit. These two are quite the pair and love playing with each other. Izzy is the racoon and Pepe is our loving skunk. They go together like peas and carrots.

We have the most fertile Kangaroos in the land. Kanga has a one year old baby and I saw her cleaning another baby in her pouch the other day. Check back with us for pictures.

I'm not to say the last animal but the latest animals are a flock of peacocks. Liberace and his partners are beautiful when their fans are open. I'm sure you wont miss them when you are here because they roam wherever they want!

At the end of Last Season we underwent many changes and upgrades. A new pavilion was added to the petting zoo, A gift shop was built, new pavilions were added for the Birthday Parties, the snack shack got a menu upgrade, tiny tot travels was added for the infants and Clyde got a new habitat. We are always trying to keep it interesting at Hidden Oak Farms!

Another luxury we have added this past winter, otherwise known as the working months, is a new pavilion to the petting zoo. Complete with covered awnings, picnic tables and ceiling fans. It is perfect for the kids and parents who want to just look from a distance instead of the hands on approach!
